Audi TT.... Totally Titillation 2008

World Car Design of the year. I agree. Just look at the beautiful swooping curve on its back. I thought the 350Z rear was nice but the Audi TT just beat it straight out. I believe the rear light is equip with the latest LED and from the commercial I saw it lights up with a very distinctive design. It is small accent like that, that makes a car so beautifully designed. The grill is as all the other new Audi's, it is integrated across the bumper and down to the air intake ducts. Initially I though it was one of the ugliest design, but looking at the TT and the RS4, I am convinced this is one of the uniquely beautiful feature of an Audi. This version of the TT comes in 2 types of engine. A 2.0 Turbo and a 3.2 V6. The 2.0T churn out 200hp and 207 lb-ft torque, while the 3.2 V6 generates 250 hp and 236 lb-ft torque. It also comes with S-tronic which is Audi's own semi-automatic gear system. TT also has a new Audi suspension system called Audi Magnetic ride. I think it means it will stick to the ground using a special designed suspension system. There is an article from Autospies.com that mentioned BMW CEO was dissing Audi's ambition of becoming a luxury player in 2015. He rebutted and say there is only 2 luxury car brand and they are BMW and Mercedes. So cocky....we will see about that. Audi is definitely chasing this dream closer and closer with its new car designs...only if they are more reliable and has better performance.
