Civic Si...what Si...Type-R

This car should not be called Honda Civic. It should be called Honda Chaos Type-R. Aggressive, powerful, lean and mean looking. This Type-R is equipped with a 225 hp 2.0 K20A engine that revs up to 8000 Rpm, 4 Brembo stoppers, 6 speed manual and redesign front faschia.
This is one of the most desirable econo street fighter vehicle. Honda...bring this car into the US. The Si is nice but it is nothing compare to the white and red badge Civic Type-R. We can only hope......more pictures.

Don't you want to catch them all?????

2008 350Z NISMO

NISMO has been a power house factory team tuner. But why a 350Z which has tail/spoiler look a little like the Porsche 959? Remember? Why? Why can't they do something more to the engine or twin turbo charge it or put in a VQ V8? It only gets some cosmetic enhancement, new suspension, Brembo and NISMO exhaust. Top power is at 306 hp with 268 lb ft.

European Ford....what is wrong with ours???

I am having doubts about how Ford is running their business in the US. Just look at the UK Ford website? See the differences? Mulally just replace the Taurus with the Mondeo. Let me know and please comment.

X-MAX: AWD Focus MPV

Just saw this refreshing news at autoexpress.co.uk about Ford. They are introducing a MPV based on the reliable and ever praise Focus platform. It is called X-MAX and it comes in 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 liter engine. Diesel engines is always popular in Europe. I would think here in the US, we will at least need a 2.3 liter 4 banger or a small block V6 3.0 liter Duratec of the Ford Escape. Hope Ford will bring in this vehicle into the US. New Ford Mondeo...where are you?

Let there be light......not the creation of earth! Hyundai Genesis

Korean car manufacturers have been trying to get into the lucrative luxury market for sometime. Remember Kia Amanti and Hyundai Azera which cost around $26-$28K comfortably loaded. But their main problem is brand recognition. Do you want to buy a car brand that also manufactured the Accent or Elantra. I think not. So the idea here that Hyundai introduce the Genesis concept is to show what they are capable of and what they will do in the luxury market. I think that their price point is confusing to people. It is a good value. Don't get me wrong. I just think it is too good to be true and do you necessary wanting to buy a luxury car from Hyundai. I think they should rebadge and rebrand it....like Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti. Only time will tell. They did prove to the US market that they are no longer the cheap-oh Hyundai of the 1990s. The safety rating on their fleet of cars are very very good...prime example Kia Sorento. Check it out.

The Genesis has a V8 engine called Tau, below $30K, 0-60 under 6 seconds, new platform, and has a bunch of luxurious features like infinity sound system, bluetooth, HID, and so on. The design is too Camry-ish (quoting from my friend sevirina) and Infiniti M-ish.

All I could wish, is good luck to Hyundai the winner of Kiplinger's Best of 2007 Car Award and may the best Luxury Car wins...watch out Lexus, BMW, Benz, Acura and Infiniti.

Subaru 2008 Reborn.....WRX? anyone?

So what do you think that the guys over at Subaru is going to reveal at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show? On their website there is a strange counter that is counting down to April 5th. It says reborn of a legend...hmmm legend...subaru...must be the WRX. Thru some of the websites like Automobile.com and Autoblog, it was revealed that it will be a new Subaru Impreza. Looking at this scan from a japanese mag, it looks like it is a far from the huge Alfa grill design...thank god it was not like the B9....more like BENIGN...

Looking at edmunds.com, it is reporting that it will have a new DCCD system and a higher torque....all 318 lbs ft. As it turns out the STi version will be a hatch back with a rear huge WRC wing on it. WOW! But I still prefer the sedan or the old coupe version. I think the engine will be the same. Japanese version will probably get the 2.0 liter and US spec will get the 2.5 liter engine. This is an exciting year since the new Evo X will also be introduce. So who will be better? Who will have an edge? We will have to wait for both cars to be introduce to find out. Looking at what Mitsu has revealed, it seems like the Evo have an edge right now. New platform, new engine, new design and new spoiler.......Until then.....we will just have to hope they can get the product to the market as fast as possible.

Audi RS4 2006

I know Jeremy from Top Gear can get a little too excited about fast cars with huge horse power. He usually prefer the BMW M3 for a coupe car...but this RS4 totally blew his mind. I was so impressive by the quality of the built, the posture is so so mean. This car has 450 hp, 8000 rpm redline, 4.2 liter powerful V8 and 4WD...quattro grip. How can you beat this car? This could be one of the best 4 doors sedan in the world money can buy. Its main competitor will be the AMG E63...wow...will review this car soon. Here are some beautiful angle of an RS4.....enjoy!
